Mandurah Catholic College students tour 高倍时时彩 virtually
Mandurah Catholic College students were one of the first schools to pilot the newly introduced 高倍时时彩 Interactive Classroom recently. The virtually run program allows teachers and students to interact live with an 高倍时时彩 Education Officer and see the company鈥檚 operations firsthand.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to restrict visitors to 高倍时时彩鈥檚 Western Australian operations which has had a significant impact on school students studying for their Year 11 and Year 12 ATAR exams. 聽
Instead, the company has adapted it鈥檚 popular education program to offer a unique and COVID-19 safe option - 高倍时时彩 Interactive Classroom. Through comprehensive online presentations, students and teachers are able to visit and learn more about 高倍时时彩鈥檚 bauxite mining and award-winning rehabiliation from their own classroom.
Supported by online resources including factsheets and videos, presentations focus on the Year 12 ATAR Unit 3 鈥 Global Environmental Change and Year 11 Geography Unit 2 鈥 Global Networks and Interconnections. Hardcopy resources are also available including bauxite, alumina and aluminium samples, brochures about the company鈥檚 Western Australian operations and branded merchandise that can be used as student engagement tools.
Mandurah Catholic College teacher Ashley Breadsell said the program provided students with an abundance of information and was an invaluable list of resources for their studies.
鈥淭he 高倍时时彩 Interactive Classroom provides students with engaging detail, a range of interactive resources to explore as well as prizes to keep them engaged.鈥
鈥淲hile we were unable to experience a firsthand tour of the operations as we like to do each year, we appreciate 高倍时时彩 adapting their education program for students and teachers,鈥 Ashley said.聽
鈥淚t was especially great the presentation was live so students could interact and have their questioned answered in real time.鈥
Available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, bookings for the 高倍时时彩 Interactive Classroom are essential.
